I have been in apparel manufacturing and product development since 1970. Originally from upstate New York and an art major that graduated from St Pete JC back in the late 60’s, I come from a creative background. I have three companies that are all apparel related. I offer the Corporate Apparel services to the Tampa Bay area only.
My manufacturing experience started in the NE and took me to South and Central America as well as to Asia. My experience with corporate apparel programs have given me the insight of the entire process from yarn, fabric development, product development and manufacturing and all the things that can go wrong along the way. This experience has helped my client avoid many pitfalls. My understanding of fabric and the way it performs helps the client in the selection of the correct fabric and the right product.
Time is our enemy in many instances and the processes that take place I understand well. Without good art work nothing gets started. Without a digitized file nothing gets stitched. Selecting the right product takes time to receive and if it all falls into place the process is simple. But we all know Murphy lurks around every corner. Sometimes there are back orders that slow the process and sometimes the product is no longer available so we are back to the selection process. This is why it is so important to allow as much lead time as you can. Most of the time things go very smoothly but there are always those odd days. It is important that the client and I communicate so the process moves along without a hitch. If you are not available for questions or approve samples the process slows down. I am always available 24/7 unless announced.
My digitizer is an award winning digitizer and an artist that loves a challenge. Projects from all over the country end up in her lap because other digitizers won’t even attempt it. She is a perfectionist that turns out beautiful digitized designs and her 20 plus years of experience shows it. She is the best of the best in our industry.
My embroiderer is also an award winner and in a class all her own. She has 20 years in embroidery and she turns out beautiful work. She is a perfectionist with an eye for quality stitching and an expert with colors. Nothing escapes her and nothing goes out the door unless it is perfect.
